History of the Company

Originally branded as Brakepro Bathurst and Brakepro Autospares. Brakepro Bathurst was opened in 1997 and with Brakepro Autospares being in operation since 1985. Initially trading as a vehicle repairer & a spare parts outlet, specialising in Brake, Clutch & suspension repair & components. The workshop catered for the specialist needs of both retail & trade customers.

After trading this way for 10 years, the spare parts side of the business grew to a point where we needed more warehouse space for our increasing range of stock. This, coupled with an industry demand for a trade qualified specialist local reseller, led to the closure of the vehicle repair side of the business in 2007.

Now with rebranding in 2020 to Auto Parts Central and continuing to be focused wholly on automotive spare parts. Auto Parts Central is locally owned and operated and is employing more local staff, many of whom are qualified automotive technicians, & while increasing the stock spectrum to offer a complete range of spare parts for all types of vehicles, servicing both retail customers & tradesman alike.

Ben Falcke, Managing Director

Ben is a qualified automotive mechanic with over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry. With a passion for cars, motorsport, basketball, family and local products including seeking local services. Ben is proud to live in Bathurst and the Central West.

Ben is continuously involved in the community and sponsors several local organisations.

Ben is consistently looking at improving systems and making sure him and his team are continually learning within the industry. Ben’s number 1 focus is to ensure the customer receives the best advice and parts.
