What does a typical day look like for you?
When I’m not answering phone calls and solving customers’ problems, I’m busily running around helping the team with whatever’s needed on the day!
While the above doesn’t sound like much, when we have a different problem or customer every 5-10 minutes, it can become very fast-paced!
What kind of problems do you deal with?
Put simply – fitting lots of deliveries and orders into a limited amount of time during the day!
Although lately we have been experiencing a lot of problems in freight, i.e the supplier has packed an incorrect part within a box; or the part listings are incorrect; or the suppliers are having supply issues (thanks COVID).
However, no problem is too big or too small here, and we always try to find a solution for our customers.
How Does Auto Parts Central differ from its competitors?
Everyone will tell you they’re the best at service & price etc etc, but APC genuinely specialise in experienced staff, stock and of course, is a family owned local business.
We pride ourselves on the fact that all of the customer service/parts interpreters come from a technical background – almost all of us are qualified mechanics, and all of us have years of automotive experience! We can understand our customers’ problems and deliver the best technical advice. After all, at one stage we used to be in their [the customers’] boots!
What is your all-time favorite race around Mount Panorama?
I’m a big fan of the 6 Hour, I tend to prefer to watch amateur teams having a crack in cheap cars than the Supercars.

Tesla Model S Plaid (+ many bikes!)
