Jon Cronin, Spare Parts Interpreter – Lithgow

Although he’s only been working in the spare parts industry for a little over a year, Jon comes from a long-standing mechanical background and has been passionate about the automotive industry from a very young age.

Jon is a proud Lithgow local with a passion for helping improve the quality of the local automotive industry.

In his free time, Jon loves spending time with his family and friends and having some cheeky beers. In the Summer, he loves barefoot water skiing and playing cricket, while during the Winter he laces up the boots and plays soccer.

What is your everyday driver?

2008 Mazda BT-50

What does a typical day look like for you?

I do a lot of different things each day, from customer enquiries to taking phone orders, as well as helping around the warehouse and other miscellaneous tasks that may come up.

What kind of problems do you deal with?

The main problems are trying to work out parts quickly for customers and chasing up transport headaches from time to time as well.

There are also some tricky problems that customers call us with that I have to work on, but I love a challenge!

How Does Auto Parts Central differ from its competitors?

I believe that we always take the time to do that extra work for our customers and that we always go above and beyond to meet our customers’ needs.

What is your all-time favorite race around Mount Panorama?

Been to all Bathurst 1000’s since i was born and there are quite a few faves, but the one that stands out will be 2014 – Chaz Mostert didn’t lead a lap all day and then overtook Jamie WHINGEcup on the last lap when he ran out of fuel. Great Day HA HA HA.

If you had $250,000 what car would you buy?

Would have to be a 1969 Ford Mustang – they are so sexy!!
